At CG United, we believe that contributing positively to the communities in which we operate is just as important as offering protection for the things our clients hold dear. As a Caribbean insurer, we are committed to the development of these communities. That’s why we continue to support a wide range of activities and partner organisations across the 20 territories in which we operate.
As part of our commitment to foster sports and cultural growth across the Caribbean, we are happy to announce our continued support of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Sailing Association (SVGSA) by serving as the Title Sponsor for the 2023 SVGSA Youth National Championships, scheduled for the weekend of December 17th, 2023.
This sponsorship represents the commitment from CG United to foster sports and cultural growth, not only in St Vincent but also across the 19 other Caribbean territories in which they operate. The company recognizes the importance of corporate support in enabling events like the Youth National Championships to flourish. It’s a testament to CG United’s dedication to promoting talent and empowering young sailors to compete at regional and international levels. The SVGSA Youth National Championships will be a platform for young sailors from St Vincent, Bequia, Canouan, Mayreau, and Union Island to compete in two boat classes: the Optimist and the Olympic ILCA, for the coveted national titles.
Like the promises we make to our clients, it has been such a pleasure for our team to honour the promise we made to Wesley Mosley in January 2020. When he won the CG “Gear Up for Wellness Challenge” at a CG sponsored Cricket West Indies (CWI) match, we could have never imagined the world would shut down just a few months later.
